about
simplicitee
Simplicity defined is a thing that is plain, natural, or easy to understand. For me, event planning is simple. I know exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. For others, working with me is simple. I will be clear in what you can expect from hiring me, and thorough in my process. Straight-forward and easy. SIMPLICITY. What could be more fitting?!
My middle name is Tee. I was named after my grandmother who passed away a few months before I was born. Her nickname was Tee and it has always held a sweet memory to my Mom's side of the family. I hope that you feel like part of the family when working with Simplicitee!

I launched Simplicitee in 2019 after years working in the corporate world planning large-scale events. I decided to shift focus and venture out into the wedding industry after planning several weddings for friends and family which developed my love for celebrating love!
I grew up in the wedding industry as my mom owned several bridal stores. It always filled me with such joy to be in her shop and witness brides finding their perfect gown. I began shadowing wedding planners which sparked my overall interest in event planning, which eventually led me here!
I quickly learned the ins and outs of the industry and it became clear that wedding planning was my forte. I thrive on developing relationships with my clients and recognizing the ways that we can work best together. I adapt to you and your communication style, your preferences on delivering information, and YOUR vision for your wedding.
I absolutely love getting to know people and I am always down to meet for coffee or a drink and celebrate all there is to come to make your day as special and personalized to you as possible.

The End of an Era is an annual event that Simplicitee hosts benefiting the Prostate Cancer Foundation on behalf of my father who passed away from prostate cancer in 2019. You can read more about my story and consider donating here.
Held at Stan Mansion, The End of an Era 2020 was a 1920’s themed gala and everyone dressed for the occasion! This kicked off the first fundraiser of many to come. We had live music, a silent auction, and served Kevin Wegner’s famous chili. It was a night to remember, partly because for many, it was the last large social gathering to happen in 2020 before the pandemic hit.
2020
The End of an Era 2022 was a casual, early 2000’s themed game night. Bridge 410 provided a variety of games throughout their venue including bocce ball, curling, corn hole and more! Axe Legends joined in on the fun and provided their traveling axe throwing trailer. Proceeds from participation and raffle prize tickets were donated to PCF.
2022
The End of an Era 2023 brought Old Hollywood Glamour to the River North neighborhood for our third annual fundraising event. We were the first event to be held at Twenty Six Chicago and the evening was enhanced by old Hollywood films projected in the background, a DJ filing the room with music from the decade, and an incredible array of silent auction items.
